PEH 163 Basic Weight Training for Life (1 PE credit)

Designed to give students the necessary techniques and knowledge in the area of weight training so they will be able to pursue intelligently and safely a program of weight training that will fit each student's specific needs or desires. All areas of weight training will be covered, such as Olympic lifting, lifting for athletes, physical therapy, body building and physical fitness for enthusiasts. Use of free weights and weight machines will be implemented.
