Academic Programs
Maybe you're thinking about beginning your college career. Maybe you're interested in starting a whole new career altogether. Maybe you just want to take a class to hone your skills or explore a new field. Or maybe you have no idea what you want to do at all. One of the best things about enrolling in a program at Onondaga Community College is it can really help you figure out where you want to go…what you want to do. It's a great way to explore your interests - and discover new opportunities.
Whatever your reason for learning about the programs at Onondaga Community College, you can be sure of one thing. You're not in this alone. Among our faculty, staff and students, you'll find plenty of support and encouragement along the way.

We offer over 40 degree and certificate programs. Our curricula include applied technologies, business, health professions, hospitality, human sciences, humanities and general studies, performing and visual arts, and science and math. And programs from Architecture to Computer Science to Nursing to Web Technology - and everything in between. On average, more than 8300 students enroll in our programs each year - 54 percent with the intent to transfer to a four-year university upon graduation.
The breadth and depth of our programs and success of our students speaks volumes about the college's diverse and top-notch faculty. In fact, they're some of the most intelligent, creative, energetic people we've ever met. They love teaching as much as they love learning. In fact, we've heard many of our faculty comment on how much they learn from the students themselves. We think this reflects the genuine care and respect our faculty has for our students. We think that's great - and we think you will, too.
