How to Apply to Live on Campus

Before you begin... 

  • In addition to the process outlined below, you'll need to be registered for 12+ credit hours with a declared major. 
  • Please be aware of the Important Dates shown on this page.

Step 1: Applying to Live on Campus

Complete our Housing Application

You will need your OCC Username and Password.  You can find them in your Acceptance Packet, or try What's my username?

Step 2: Make a $200 Deposit

Make your payment online or in person at Student Central.

Notes:

  • This is a non-refundable deposit to solidify your intent to live on campus and it saves your place in line.  Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
  • This deposit is waived if you have lived in the residence halls for the previous year.

What happens next?

Housing applications come in over the course of several months with students submitting supplemental information at various times during their admission process. 

Only after you have submitted all of the documents and satisfied all of the requirements outlined in the admission and housing application processes will you be assigned a room.

Important Dates

April 10 - Fall 2019 Housing Application is now available

June 10 - Priority Housing Deadline

Mid June - Room assignments begin

July 14 - Last day to terminate your housing contract without incurring 2019-2020 housing charges.
