2011-12 Athletic Highlights

• Men’s and women’s basketball made history and played their first-ever games at the SRC Arena and Events Center. Both teams scored big wins against Tompkins Cortland Community College. 
• Men’s Soccer won its first-ever Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship
• Women’s Cross Country team placed at the National Championship meet for the first time in the College’s history
• Women’s Tennis Team finished 6th at the National Championships
• The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) selected Onondaga to receive a 2010-11 NJCAA Region III Sportsmanship Award.
• The Men’s Basketball team ended the season with a 17-14 record and made its 12th consecutive Mid-State Athletic Conference Tournament. 
• The Women’s Basketball team won the NJCAA Region II Division III Tournament and advanced to the National Championship Tournament where they lost in the second round. 
• Men’s Lacrosse team is ranked #1 in NJCAA rankings and is off to an undefeated start.
