Intro to Programming

This is an introductory course to programming and software development in general as well is a steppingstone for the absolute novice that would like to go the one of the hottest technologies in the market: .net. This course takes the beginner program through variables, constants, iteration, conditionals, forms, procedures, functions, two-dimensional arrays, multidimensional arrays, reading and writing files, string manipulation, records, searching and sorting. The class spans fifteen weeks with two labs each week, four assignments, exams and one final project. Having a lab buddy is recommended but not necessary.
