Kathleen N. LaGrow, '79
Among the many lessons she learned at Onondaga, Kathleen N. LaGrow credits the College with teaching her what it means to serve and give back to the community. As CEO and owner of Central New York’s six Learn As You Grow Child Care Centers, she has been involved in projects with the Rescue Mission, Golisano Children’s Hospital, and organizations sending Christmas gifts to members of the military.
Ms. LaGrow began her career in Early Childhood Education and Development by earning a human services degree at Onondaga and a bachelor’s degree in special education through the SUNY system. Additionally, she completed graduate coursework at Syracuse University. Ms. LaGrow founded the Learn As You Grow Child Care Centers in 1986, offering quality, safe and affordable early childhood education and school age programming to the community.
