    Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University Dual Admission Program

    The Transfer Agreement between Onondaga Community College and Syracuse University is currently under review.  For more information on what OCC courses meet Syracuse degree requirements and how to participate in this program contact Syracuse University. Updated May 2017

    To participate in the Dual Admission program, simply follow the steps below.  If you need more information, contact the Office of Transfer Admission at Syracuse University. 

    1. Apply for admission to Onondaga Community College.
    2. Before you begin your studies at OCC, meet with an advisor to plan degree requirements and discuss degree interest at SU.  Choose your courses according to OCC degree requirements and Syracuse University's transfer guides. 
    3. File the Syracuse University Intent to Enroll Form at the time you decide to participate in the dual admission degree program (must be before or during your first semester at OCC).
    4. Return your Intent to Enroll Form to: or mail to: Undergraduate Processing Center, 621 Skytop Road, Suite 160, Syracuse, NY 13244-5290.  Syracuse University will identify you as a potential dual admit student.
    5. Keep in contact with both your OCC advisor and transfer admissions at Syracuse University. Continue to make sure your courses follow OCC degree requirements and Syracuse University's transfer guides. 
    6. When you are one semester away from completing your OCC degree, you should submit the Syracuse University Supplemental Application form to the Syracuse University Admissions Office.
    7. As long as you meet the requirements specified in the agreement, you will be given junior standing and full consideration for financial aid.
