MAT 162 Calculus II (4 credits)

A second course in calculus for students in mathematics, science, and engineering. Applications of integrals; derivatives and integrals of exponential, logarithmic, and inverse trigonometric functions; indeterminate forms and L'Hôpital's rule; techniques of integration; improper integrals; numerical integration; infinite series; conic sections; parametric equations; polar coordinates and polar graphs. Graphing calculator use is required. Prerequisite: MAT 161 Calculus I, or equivalent.
