The Electrical Technology Department frequently receives job opportunity notices from local employers. Typically employers are looking for recent graduates for either permanent or temporary full-time and part-time positions. Occasionally the part-time jobs are appropriate for qualified current students as well. Department faculty can facilitate connections between qualified graduates (and current students) and employers.
Employment services are also provided by the Counseling department. The employment services include workshops on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and how to conduct a job search. Faculty also assist interested students who are about to graduate and who are seeking jobs by reviewing resumes and making recommendations about portfolios and potential job possibilities.
