Right Turn Program

A program for 16-24 year old individuals who have been involved with the juvenile justice system. 

The program focuses on helping students earn an education, explore careers, and obtain job readiness skills.

Who's Eligable?

Youth and young adults who are:

  • Between the ages of 16-24 years old
  • Living in the City of Syracuse
  • Previously or currently involved in the juvenile justice system or are at risk by having poor school attendance, low grades, discipline issues, etc.

  • resume and interview workshops
  • information interviews
  • career exploration through job shadowing 
Connect with Community Resources
  • housing
  • mental/physical healthcare
  • substance abuse
  • social services
  • liaison with Adolescent Diversion Program and Office of Probation
  • birth certificates, sheriff's IDs, non-driver's IDs
  • RAP sheet review/correction
  • mediation services
  • advocate for court involved youth
  • obtaining Sheriffs ID, non-drivers ID, and Birth Certificate
