Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center at Onondaga Community College (SBDC) is part of a nationwide network (ASBDC) and is one of 24 regional centers in New York State. The SBDC program is funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York and Onondaga Community College, our host campus.

New York State Certified Business Advisors assist aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with the support they need to start, expand or re-energize their business. Each entrepreneur or business owner undergoes an individualized assessment with his or her Business Advisor to determine their current situation, issues that need to be addressed and the desired outcome. They gather information that the entrepreneur uses to make decisions and take steps toward a productive and profitable future. They work together to develop a strategic plan. One-to-one business advisement is offered at no cost and is confidential.
