Obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Desktop/Support/Service/Help Desk or qualified repair tech. There are two areas of study: Essentials and Practical Application. A+ Essentials: Exam 220-801 or measures the necessary competencies for an entry level professional with the equivalent knowledge of at least 500 hours of hands on experience in the lab or field. Hands on equates to knowledge of installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, operating, optimizing, diagnosing, and performing preventive maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. A+ Practical: Exam 220-802 is targeted for individuals who work or intend to work in a mobile or corporate technical environment with a high level of face to face client interaction. Job titles in some organizations which are descriptive of the role of this individual may be enterprise technician, IT administrator, field service technician, PC technician, etc. Tuition covers the cost of administering the course and there are no additional fee's or charges. Pre-Requisite: None | 60 hours/non-credit course
