Baby Signs for Professionals

During this 3-hour workshop, participants will learn how to use sign language effectively with both typical and special needs children. By the end of the training, participants will have learned the proven benefits of using the Baby Signs Program, 32 of the most useful signs for infants, toddlers and special needs children, the best strategies for teaching signs and how to incorporate signs into daily classroom routines and therapy sessions.

Speech therapists will have the opportunity to earn .3 CEUs for this workshop. Following the workshop, attendees who wish to earn CEUs must complete a short post-test and remit a $10 fee. (CEUs provided by Smart Horizons. Smart Horizons has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, IACET, 1780).

Therapists and childcare providers may also use training hours to meet continuing education requirements.
