Law Enforcement - Police Academy

The Phase I / Pre-Employment Basic Course for Police (LEC) program @ OCC (The Police Academy) is offered over the course of two (2) academic semesters. Regular tuition rates apply, including full time tuition for two (2) semesters, materials fee, EVOC fee, and uniform costs (out of pocket expense). This program is approximately 80% of the Basic Course for Police required by NYS for all police officers; the portion not taught in Phase I is taught in Phase II, following your being hired by a police agency.

The Phase I Police Academy program is an evening program, meeting three (3) evenings a week from 6:00-10:00pm, and Saturday mornings from 6:00-8:30am for PT.
