ID Requirements

A photo ID must be presented at any time you take a placement test at Onondaga to insure that we administer the test to the right person and that no one else takes your test.

If you don’t have acceptable identification with you, you will not be able to complete placement testing.

Acceptable forms of photo identification:

  • Current driver’s license or DMV ID card
  • Current passport/US government immigration ID documents
  • Current U.S. military identification card
  • Current other state issued drivers license/ID cards
  • Onondaga Student ID or High School ID card
  • High School yearbook with your picture and printed name
  • Original notarized letter of identity with photo (no copies)
  • Original birth certificate and Social Security card together

Unacceptable forms of identification:

  • Birth certificate alone, diploma or report card
  • Credit or charge card (with or without picture)
  • Organization or warehouse club membership card (BJ’s, YMCA, etc)
  • Temporary drivers/learners permits with no picture
  • Police reports of stolen wallet
  • Fishing or hunting license
  • Social security card alone
  • Faxes or photocopies of any ID listed under acceptable forms of ID.

Remember to always have your photo ID with you at any time you plan to take a test.  If you don’t have it with you, testing staff must deny you admission to the test room.
