Athletic field lighting will be operated and controlled only by authorized athletic department or SRC Arena personnel. The field lights will be turned on no sooner than 60 minutes before a field activity is scheduled and within 30 minutes after the end of an activity. Athletic field lighting will be turned off each night by 11:00 pm and no further activities, practices or games will be authorized unless specifically designated by the Athletics Director and authorized by the Senior Vice President for College Affiliated Enterprises & Asset Management. The only exception to this would be a game which is in progress and whose conclusion has been delayed due to some extraordinary circumstances (e.g., multiple overtimes, lightening, or a serious injury to a participant). Full lighting is required for practices of certain sports and those that require full lighting shall conclude no later than 9 pm.

The Murphy Field public address system will be solely operated and controlled by Athletics Department or SRC Arena personnel as designated by the Athletics Director or the SRC Arena General Manager. Volume will be kept at a set, not to exceed, level and sound will be muted for the west side speakers during practices. Any music that is played over the public address system must be screened for appropriateness and to ensure there is no profanity included.
