2008 NJCAA Region III and Mid-State Athletic Conference Champions

The 2008 men's lacrosse team captured its 4th consecutive NJCAA Region III championship and its 8th consecutive Mid-State Athletic Conference championship this season.  The Lazers were the #1 seed in the NJCAA National Tournament and reached the national semi-final game.  Several Onondaga players also received national, regional, and conference honors.  Ed Prevost was named 1st Team All-American, Junior College Offensive Player of the Year, and National Attackman of the Year.  Adam Rivers was a 1st Team All-American at defense.  Vinnie Alexander, Jordan Loftus, and Andy Lamb received 2nd Team All-American honors at attack, midfield, and goalie respectively.  Prevost, Loftus, and Rivers were also 1st Team Region III All-Region selections, and were joined on the 1st Team by midfielder Joe Taylor.  Lamb and Alexander were 2nd Team All-Region selections, along with Cody Johnson at midfield and Padriac McKendry on defense.  James Synowiez, Holdon Vyse, Logan Kane, Tom Anthis, ScottCost, Ryan Degerdon, Kevin Wilkerson, Lee Thomas, Ryan Leach, Nick Larocca, and Andy Torruella were all Honorable Mention All-Region selections.  Lamb was a 1st Team Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference selection and was named the conference Player of the Year.  Alexander, Vyse, Taylor, Johnson, McKendry, and Rivers joined Lamb on the All-Conference 1st Team, while Kane and Leach were named 2nd Team All-Conference.
