Men's_results      Women's_results

Oct 9, 2010 - The Men's and Women's teams competed at the Nazareth Invitational.  The Men's team was incomplete but the Women's team was able to score as a team.  The Men's race was a close battle between Alfred and Nazareth with Alfred winning the meet.  The 6K race was won by Matt Morales of Nazareth in a time of 21:33.  Greg Massara was the Lazer's top runner in a time  of 23:34.  Zach McQuaid finished in 24:45 with Ed Dononvan in 32:15 and Tyree Shaw in 36:50.  I suspect the Men's course was long.

The Women had their best race of the season so far.  They finished 5th out of 9 teams with Alfred edging the OCC runners by one point.  Kristina Sprague has led the Lazers in all of their contests so far with a time of 17:25.  Jenna Delaney had a break through performance with a time of 17:53.  Britt Ross (18:51) and Cara Andrianos (18:58) were close behind and Richara Terpening showed great improvement with a 23:06.  

Next week the team will travel to the University of Rochester to compete.
