Men's results      Women's results

The Women of the Onondaga Community College Cross Country Team showed amazing composure at the University of Rochester Yellow Jacket Invitational.  Between the sideways rain, the bitter cold, the extremely muddy course and the fact that they were off the bus with about 2 minutes to spare, they let nothing phase them.  Meg Guzewicz (Auburn) led the team with a 22:09.  Our next two runners were Jenna Delaney and Britt Ross (Both of Oswego) in 23:16 and 23:23.  Cara Andrianos (ESM) also ran a strong race in 25:53.

On the Men's side the team had a strong showing with almost everyone running a season's best.  The team finished 13th out of 16 team in a field comprised mainly of 4 year school.  Some of the teams in the meet were Cornell, Geneseo, Cortland, RIT, and University of Rochester.  Kevin Zych (Westhill) led the Men with a 27:58.  Chris Handelmann (Homer) had a breakthrough today with a 29:55.  Michael Nikoski (OCS) had an outstanding run with a 30:41.  Greg Massara (Marcellus) moved up on the team with a 31:25.  Robert Saunder (Food and Finance) also PRed with a 32:17.  Zach McQuaid (Oswego) ran well with a 34:52 and Ed Donovan (Bishop Grimes) took 45 seconds off of his previous best 8k. 

Both teams are running well at the right time of the year.
