SUNY Delhi hosted the NJCAA national championships with a challenging course and cool dry weather.  The Men’s team finished 11th at the championship just behind North Country CC.  This was the first time since starting the cross country team three years ago that the Men's team has competed in the championship meet.  This could be the start of a tradition and a good rivalry.  The team at nationals was Chris Handelmann (Homer), Mike Nakoski(Onondaga Central), Robert Patterson (Jordan Elbridge), Dave Johnson (Oswego) and Mike Malone (Fayetteville Manlius).  The Men’s team winner was Harper out of Illinois.  Kayleigh Corbett (Corcoran) ran as an individual in the championship.  She ran well finishing in the top 40. The Women’s team winner was Gloucester.
