Fall Shootout - Athletics - Onondaga Community College

Each team will play a minimum of five games.
On Saturday, each team will play three games in pool play (generally one game rest between games).
On Sunday, teams will be bracketed and compete for the shootout championship. Each team’s first two games will be completed with one game rest in between. Semifinals and finals will be played in the late afternoon/early evening.

Games will consist of two 16 minute halves, no shot clock - stopped clock, not running time!
Every game will be officiated by certified officials.
Three minute halftime, at least 5 minutes pregame, two 30 second timeouts per game.
Except for the above modifications, National Federation rules will be used.

The tournament is designed to be a varsity-level event, and is limited to 16 teams.
2011 entrants may reserve a spot in this year’s Shootout by making a $100 deposit by September 28, 2012. After that teams will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis until the field is filled.

Cost $395 per team, payable to Onondaga Enterprises, Inc.
Medical release forms will be required for each participant, and will be sent to each team upon receipt of the registration fee.
Each participating player will receive an Onondaga Basketball t-shirt.
The complete tournament schedule will be sent to each team as soon as the 16-team field is set.
