Parent/Support Member Portal

This Parent/Support Member Portal gives the student the ability to grant and rescind rights for other people to view the student's information in WebAdvisor/WebAccess.  The rights may be given to Financial Forms online.  Access to Academic and other information must be given by filling out the FERPA form below.

Note, a new method of accessing student’s financial data is being implemented. As a result, you may need to reauthorize access to Parents/Authorized Users who previously had access.

Need to grant access to parent/support member?  

Step 1

Log into WebAdvisor

Step 2

Select "Current Student" and then under "My Parent's Access" click on "Add Parent/Authorized user

Step 3 

Complete the required fields on the form and select from the drop down at the bottom of the page the access level you would like to give from the following options:  

  • Account Activity
  • Make A Payment
  • Select all

After the student submits the request, it will be processed immediately if the person and relationship to the student is new.  If there is a potential match with an existing person, Student Central will be notified to review and process the request.  Once processed (real time or by Student Central), the Parent/Proxy User will then receive an email from Student Central letting them know they have been granted access, where to login and their ID and password if needed.  A student can go in anytime to change Financial access for the authorized user.  

Step 5 

If the student wants to grant Academic and … Access, they should complete the Authorization to Release Student Education Records form and return it to Student Central.  This will authorize faculty and staff to discuss these additional topics with the student.

How Authorized Users can use their New Access

Parent/Proxy Users will receive an email that includes where to login, their login ID and initial password.  Once logged into Self-Service select the person’s account you want to view.  Depending on the access you were granted you will see the following menu options:  

  • Account Activity (Self-service)
  • Make a Payment (Self-service)
