Students may live in a single, double, or triple bedroom in either traditional, suite, or pod style settings. Each of our halls houses students who are assigned to a Living Learning Community (LLC), that fits their academic or personal interests. Each of our buildings is supervised by a student RA staff and a professional Residence Hall Director, who are available to support student success, cultivate an inclusive community, and provide students with opportunities to form lasting friendships.
Residence Hall, Building B is suite-style housing and offers students an apartment-style setting. Common areas are shared by all suitemates and include a full kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms. The bedrooms within the suite are occupied by one (single), two (double), or three (triple) students. Bedrooms in our suite-style residence hall are furnished with a bed, desk and wardrobe closet for every student. Laundry facilities are available on the first floor and you can use them by putting funds on your LazerCard online or at Student Central. Building B is designated to returning students for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Shapero Hall is a traditional style building which offers students the ability to live in a communal setting. All bedrooms are off of a hallway with shared bathrooms and kitchenettes on each floor. The bedrooms in Shapero Hall are occupied by one (single), two (double), or three (triple) students. Bedrooms in Shapero Hall are furnished with a bed, desk, open closet, and two stackable 2 drawer dressers for each student. There are 2 lounges, a seminar room, laundry facilities, and a fitness area in this hall. Students living in Shapero are first-year students and have access to an RA on every floor of the building. Students who live in Shapero also can take advantage of the LazerLine Shuttle which takes students from Shapero to the other residence halls and all around our campus community.
Our Buildings A and C are pod-style housing which offers the openness and community feel of a traditional style residence hall while maintaining the intimacy of suite style living. Each pod houses 5-8 students in single, double or triple occupancy bedrooms with two shared bathrooms. Each pod is attached to a common study area. These buildings also offer larger common study areas and lounge spaces that can be used for programming, social gatherings and a place to interact with other residents. Laundry facilities and vending machines are available on the first floor and you can use them by putting funds on your LazerCard online or at Student Central. Building A is designated to new students for the 2018-2019 academic year and Building C will be a mix of our returning and new students in the Athletics, Recreation and Fitness, Zen Zone, Honors, Creative Arts Studio, and Music LLCs.
