Social Justice Club

Social justice workers attempt to create communities and institutions based upon principles of social and economic egalitarianism. OCC’s social justice club aims to accomplish social justice work locally, in Syracuse and Central New York. Through our work, we study and learn about critical local and global social justice issues, like poverty, hunger, racial segregation, urban violence, violation of workers’ rights, domestic violence, environmental destruction, human trafficking, and other forms of inequality and injustice.
The Social Justice Club is a student-driven organization, but includes members of the college community. If you would like to join the club, please email Professor David Van Arsdale,
