Fast Track to Business Start Up

This 20 hour class meets the requirements of the Self Employment Assistance Program through the Department of Labor and is open to anyone wanting to get their business up and running quickly

The class is taught over three days and includes presentations by an attorney, lender, a representative from the Small Business Administration, an insurance representative and an accountant.

The class is taught by a certified small business advisor.

 

The outcome of this three day class will be a basic business plan.

 

All classes are held at Onondaga Community College, Mulroy Hall, (former H-1 Hall)

  • Business plan development
  • Organizational structures
  • Cost analysis
  • Marketing
  • Financial management
  • Financing your business – the options

Time:  9:00 am to 4:30 pm on the following dates.

May 14, 16 and 21, 2013
June 11, 13 and 18, 2013
July 16, 18 and 23, 2013
August 13, 15 and 20, 2012

Fee:     $125

 

Current Onondaga Community College Students, Staff, participants in the Start-Up New York Program (Inclusive Entrepreneurship) and RMAP Program can take this class at No Fee.

Also, veterans, with proof of military service can take this class on a No Fee basis.
