I have been working with photographic realities and their relationship to time, in recent years. Meticulous paintings from photographs that are meant to relate to and prolong the snapshot instant, leading the viewer slowly around inconsequential exterior spaces.
Drawings meditated by digital media and photography that record light as a solid material. Photographs using cameras that don’t capture everything the mechanical lens is supposed to. Experimental photographic images that use the index of an object, the shadows they cast. Films that are a record of everyday life, as an homage to Jonas Mekas. Drawings that attempt to record multiple realities by observation or meditated by photographs.
