Biography:                            

Dr. Braunberger obtained a Ph.D. in American Studies from Purdue University. She earned a master of arts in American Studies from Boston College and a bachelor of arts in communication from the University of North Dakota. She is an associate professor of English and has published several works on the art of tattoo. Most recently, Dr. Braunberger taught an interdisciplinary honors course titled, “Exploring Islam” where she incorporated elements of Islamic poetry, music, literature, art, history, and religion in order to fully understand and teach the culture of the Muslim world.
