Candice Dance is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo with a BA in Mathematics w/ certification to teach 7th – 12th grade Mathematics. She holds a MS in Mathematics Education from Syracuse University.
Her teaching experience includes positions at the middle school and high school in the West Genesee School District, a teaching assistantship at Syracuse University, and a position as an adjunct instructor at Onondaga Community College teaching developmental mathematics, liberal arts math and precalculus. She has been with the math department at Onondaga full-time since 1999. Her teaching responsibilities consist of many liberal arts math courses and the Calculus sequence.
Candice won the AMATYC (American Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges) Teaching Excellence Award in 2011, and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching 2006.
