Onondaga to Become Energy Smart Learning Center

Onondaga Community College has renewed its agreement with Hudson Valley Community College to become an Energy Smart® Learning Center as part of the Center for Energy Efficiency and Building Science (CEEBS).

CEEBS, a division of HVCC’s Workforce Development Institute, offers contractors, builders and consumers a series of sequential training courses on how to perform energy audits on homes and make upgrades to improve a home’s energy efficiency.

“This opportunity is consistent with our commitment to sustainability and workforce development,” said David Wall, director of Corporate and Public Partnerships at Onondaga. “As an Energy Smart Learning Center, Onondaga will provide quality and affordable training for New York’s Energy Star Residential and Multi-Family Homes programs.”
