Tune In To SuperMix

SuperMix is Onondaga’s 24-hour, student-run Internet radio station that offers a mix of alternative rock and independent music as well as specialty programs. Sophomore Quindell Williams of Syracuse is the station’s operations manager and a student in the Electronics Media Communications (EMC) program. Prior to his job as operations manager, Williams was the first Public Service Announcements (PSA) director when the station launched two years ago.

“Working at the station has been very exciting for me. I really look forward to getting up and going to class,” said Williams. “Through this job and with the recommendations of my professors, I’ve received offers to freelance with Syracuse University sports and ESPN. Having those contacts and connections while I’m still in college is amazing.”

SuperMix links up with the sportscasting class to conduct live remote sports coverage of Onondaga Lazers games including interviews with players and coaches. Tune in to SuperMix online at www.supermix.us. It is also available in the College’s residence halls on television channel 15.
