Onondaga Community College's Board of Trustees voted to name the Recital Hall in the Academic II building the "Frederick Marvin & Ernst Schuh Recital Hall" in honor of their tremendous support of the College's Music major. Marvin (pictured above on the left) was a world-renowned concert pianist. Schuh (pictured above on the right) was his manager and husband. Thanks to their generosity, two Music majors specializing in Piano attend OCC tuition-free. Marvin and Schuh also gifted the College a mid-sized grand piano along with most of their music collection. "The College has been the recipient of substantial generosity from the late Professor Fred Marvin and his husband Ernst Schuh. In honor of their commitment to our students we are naming our Recital Hall after them," said OCC President Dr. Casey Crabill.

Also at the January 28 board meeting, Solvay Bank President and CEO Paul P.
