Alexis Riccardo

"Another semester completed! I feel so proud and accomplished! This semester has definitely been a struggle. I have learned that I have the ability to overcome any obstacle thrown in my path and that feels amazing!"

Gina Segreti

"I am so thrilled to have successfully completed so much this semester, even though it wasn’t how any of us envisioned it going. Through positivity and determination, we accomplished so much during these difficult times. I am so grateful for all the professors who helped me reach my goals, and am looking forward to the next academic year! Onondaga Community College has brought about so many opportunities for me, and I’m so grateful for all I have and will accomplish there."

Brandon Williams

"And to be done with the semester through all this shows how much fight we have to do to succeed no matter what gets in our path. The pandemic was just another obstacle to hop over."

Lindsey Switzer

"To be done to me means that I can take what I learned and apply it to the real world and make a difference. I can now take the next steps in my life and grow as a person and in my career path. Being done means that I can explore the many different paths interior design has to offer and really figure out which one I’m passionate about."

Murjan Abdi

I am the first person in my family to graduate with a high school diploma and the first to attend college. I overcame many challenges in my life in order to pursue my dream of going to college. OCC has helped to make that dream a reality. The faculty and staff care about me and are supportive of my goals. I’ve had opportunities to learn from and network with professionals in my community to help advance my education and personal growth. The skills I’ve learned at OCC will help me stand out and reach my career goals

"The ending of this semester is not how anyone would have imagined it. Being away from friends, professors, and the community at school has been tough on not just me, but also the many other students I’ve talked to. But we’re here. We made it, and we’ll all be better for it. I’m proud of myself for working hard even when sometimes it might have been easier to do nothing. The silver lining, I get to be home with my two dogs, Cheeba and Sugar."

Sarina Brown

"My last semester at OCC has been completely different from what I expected it to be like. However, despite these circumstances, finishing this semester strong was still the end goal. It feels great to know another semester is in the books. The uncertainty of everything has been tough, but OCC has really been by my side throughout all of this"

Grace McGuiness

"It went by way to fast OCC, spring semester flew by! I’m going to miss spending time here... I’ve made a lot of great memories and even better friends!"

Trevor Scott

"Finishing the semester to me feels very liberating, it wasn’t an easy transition to go from on campus classes to online classes, but nevertheless we always pull through. I do miss seeing my friends and attending lectures done by amazing professors, but I’m okay with it, because I know we will make it back eventually. I am looking forward to working with Phi Theta Kappa these next 2 semesters and I can’t wait to get my degree!"
