Program for Children

The philosophy that guides the experiences teachers plan for the children is based upon the belief that children learn when they are given ample opportunities for observation, exploration and discovery.

Teachers guide and extend children’s learning by challenging their thinking, reasoning, and problem solving skills. The principles upon which the program is based are consistent with early childhood research and best practices set forth by organizations that are leaders in the field.

The activities for children include a balance of active/quiet play, small/large group, indoor/outdoor, child initiated/teacher directed.  Indoor playrooms allow the children opportunities to build large motor skills regardless of outside weather conditions.

Scholarships may be available for students who meet eligibility guidelines, these reduce the cost of child care.  Contact Michele Ferguson or Helayne Dillon for information about tuition scholarships.
