Who we are
The mission of Onondaga Community College’s Testing Services Department is to provide a calm and welcoming testing environment. Testing Services adheres to the National College Testing Association’s Professional Standards and Guidelines. The NCTA’s guidelines are designed to ensure the highest ethical and professional testing practices for our students and faculty and for the greater community at large. We offer test proctoring for OCC, other schools and institutions, and accommodative testing for students with disabilities.
Important Testing Information
Photo ID is required for all testing.
To maintain academic integrity, we video record test sessions, lockdown browsers and employ remote control of student computers during testing sessions.
We provide lockers for items not allowed in the test room.
Any suspicious behavior or activity is reported immediately along with supporting video, screen captures and/or hardcopy materials.
Incoming students are not required to take placement testing. Schedule an appointment with your Navigator to receive placement recommendations.
