What You'll Learn

At OCC, you'll learn core medical principles that are key for your success, along with the critical thinking and communication skills to provide emergency care. You'll also learn important math and sciences to apply in the field.
 
At SUNY Upstate, you'll get to put those principles into action and get familiar with the gear and rigging you'll use. Put on your uniform and get ready to learn, hands-on. 

Where You'll Go

You'll be able to work for top medical centers, hospitals and ambulance services. 
 

Your internships will be with specialty departments such as Adult and Pediatric Level-I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, NYS Poison Control Center, and more.
