Onondaga’s Architectural Department is highly regarded in the Central New York architectural community for its ability to instill skills that employers value most. Graduates of the Architectural Technology program are eligible for a variety of employment opportunities in the design and construction industry.
What You'll Learn
In this program, you’ll learn how to draft construction documents for residential and commercial building projects. You’ll also use software to apply overarching design ideas and concepts.

Where You'll Go
Some graduates choose to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year university. However, with your degree you can dive right into the workforce and begin your career as an architect assistant, drafter, or an estimator.
