What is Alumni Faces Fund for Student Empowerment?

The Alumni Faces Fund for Student Empowerment has been established to directly assist OCC students who are facing critical challenges such as homelessness, financial hardships, and food insecurity. These barriers are nonacademic in nature and are a growing reason among our current student population as to why they are unable to persist in their program of study. By building this fund, our Alumni Face Honorees will help lead the effort to ensure that OCC students will feel supported completely, by making a reserve fund available to qualified students in addition to the academic support programs we provide to them. The initial goal for this fund is $6,000, so with your donation, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of these students, so they can focus on their dreams of obtaining a degree, and maybe one day, joining the Alumni Faces family!
