In addition to our main campus, we offer day and evening courses, taught by OCC faculty, at our satellite location in Liverpool, New York.
What we offer
Our Liverpool campus has seven classrooms, a computer lab, and easy access for students in North Syracuse. Classes are offered during the spring, summer, and fall semesters and cover a variety of topics, including degree-specific requirements and SUNY General Ed credits.
Students at the Liverpool campus are encouraged to take advantage of OCC support services, including Placement Testing, First Year Experience Support, The Learning Center, and Financial Aid.
Community Education Courses
This course will cover information to prepare you for the New York State Notary Exam. Taught by an experienced, practicing professional, the course will review the laws and procedures specific to the field in easy-to-understand language and include information on best practices. It is recommended that students review the NYS Division of Licensing Services website at www.dos.ny.gov/licensing/notary/notary.html# and Notary Public License Law before the class date.

The SAT Prep program is specially designed to help high school juniors and seniors study for the SAT exam. It's offered on OCC's main campus and our Liverpool location, and uses the College Board Official SAT Study Guide to prepare students for the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math test sections of the SATs.
If you're planning on taking the SATs, please consider taking this prep course. It offers plenty of practice tests to assess your strengths and weaknesses, and its structure will help you understand the test questions more thoroughly to improve your score.
The SAT Prep program costs $209.

- Register online, or fill out a printable registration Form and an Emergency Health Release Form for Minors, and fax them to OCC's Liverpool campus at (315) 498-2400.
- Buy a copy of the College Board Official SAT Study Guide.
You'll receive a reminder email several days before the class starts to confirm your registration and provide additional details.

Participants will learn the potential hazards in the flow of food and the basic principles of food safety procedures, good personal hygiene, controlling time and temperature, preventing cross-contamination, cleaning and sanitizing. A Certicate of Achievement is awarded at the end of the training session upon successful completion of the course and test. Training includes: ServSafe Certified Instructor, ServSafe Food Handler Guide workbook for each student, Course content review and test, Certificate of Achievement suitable to be kept on file as a training record.
