Vera House Office Hours are for students to be able to discuss any questions or concerns that they may have about any issues related to domestic or sexual violence, abuse, consent, or unhealthy relationships.

Vera House advocates are confidential and anonymous resources who can help with navigating systems, understanding what your options and rights are, getting your connected to resources and ongoing assistance. Drop-ins or appointments are available.

JEWELS (Journey to Empower Women through Everyday Life Situations):
Support groups for informed decision making, self-regulation, self-esteem, building healthy relationships, victims of abuse.

FACES (Facing Adversity in our Community through Education and Support):
HIV/STD prevention program for men, designed to encourage condom use and improve condom negotiation skills.  Community navigation/linkage and Fatherhood Program.

FIDELIS:
Fidelis Care offers New York State-funded health insurance options. It also assists students with health insurance and medical needs. They help facilitate enrollment in various insurance plans such as Fidelis Care, Excellus, United Healthcare, Molina Healthcare, and explore other options that may be available to students.

NBLCH:
NBLCH promotes the health and well-being of Black communities through advocacy, policy, and action. They also provide campus outreach and HIV testing.

Our mission is to help people live healthier lives and to help make the health system work better for everyone. We explore all health insurance options and help facilitate enrollment in the best plan for the student and/or their family. 

REACH HEALTHY FAMILIES: (Monthly starting 9/22)
REACH – Healthy Families provides assistance with applying for health insurance, Public Assistance, SNAP, WIC. They also help with family planning, finding daycare, finding a dentist, a doctor for you and your baby, as well as conducting health screenings, giving breastfeeding support, prenatal education, and more.
