Before You Visit
To have a document notarized, please:
- Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID.
- Bring the complete document that needs to be notarized.
- Do not sign the document in advance unless instructed to do so. Signatures must be witnessed by the notary.
- Make sure all individuals whose signatures require notarization are present with valid identification.
- Contact the notary in advance to confirm availability.
Notaries can verify identities and witness signatures, but they cannot provide legal advice or explain how a document should be completed.
