Indoor Drumline

Course Description

The OCC Indoor Drumline is a marching percussion ensemble open to students 14 years of age and older who have prior percussion experience. The ensemble includes battery percussion (snare, tenor, bass, cymbals) and front-ensemble instruments (mallets and auxiliary percussion). Rehearsals and performances take place indoors, typically in a gym setting. Students participate in contests and events within the NYSPC circuit in the Syracuse and Rochester areas.

2026 Season Information

• First Camp: Sunday, December 21, 9:00am–4:00pm
• Location: Academic II Building, Room P112, Onondaga Community College
• Schedule: Weekend rehearsals from December through the first week of April

This program is designed for students whose school or college does not offer an indoor percussion ensemble, as well as those seeking additional performance experience.
