Tap into your Alumni Network

We consider all students alums from the first day they start at OCC.

We are proud to welcome you to the Lazer Family and encourage you to take advantage of all the opportunities OCC has to offer.

Whether it's networking opportunities, career development, joining student clubs, or applying for internships and scholarships – getting involved on campus will take you that much closer to your goals!

Student Clubs

Explore your interests, meet new people on campus, and develop your leadership skills. We offer a variety of student clubs and organizations covering academic, cultural, recreational, and religious interests. We also host guest lectures and networking opportunities for you to exercise your academic, social and professional skills. Visit the S.O.L.E. office in Gordon Student Center, Room 114 to learn how you can get involved!

A scholarship is a financial gift for your education that does not need to be repaid.  They're awarded to students who meet requirements specific to each scholarship. The OCC Foundation has a collection of individual and organizational scholarships available to students, so anyone can apply to be considered for the funds associated with the award.

The Learning Center provides FREE online and in-person tutoring, academic support, and a quiet and friendly atmosphere to work on your assignments! STAR-NY is also available for tutoring in the evenings from 7:00pm–12:00am (Sunday - Thursday).

Career & Internship Opportunities

Connect with Career Services to get started developing the skills you'll need in your career. Whether through workshops, internships, or job opportunities, you'll gain valuable professional experience.  They can even help you develop your resume and cover letter, prep for job interviews, and identify opportunities with companies and organizations that catch your interest!

Speaker Series

Every semester, alumni from various professions come to campus to share their experience, insight, and answer your questions. It's a great way to meet others within your program and network with alumni in a profession that is directly or indirectly related to your coursework. Keep an eye on OCC's social media and your email for info on upcoming events throughout each semester!

Alumni Connect

Alumni Connect is a professional networking program.  Engage with OCC alumni and get help with professional-related questions, and gain insight into how to prepare for career opportunities.
