Joseph Sierzputowski (Joe Sears) is an Audio Engineer/Sound Designer/Composer/Singer Songwriter, and Educator; an industry professional since 1985. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (LeMoyne College) along with a minor in Music Theory and Composition (Crouse College at Syracuse University), Joe became a Full Time employee of David Horowitz Music Associates in New York City. Working on film, TV, Radio, Commercial Music and albums with award-winning composers, world-class musicians, vocalists, and voiceover artists (as well as celebrities) in a variety of different genres, Joe has acquired a deep knowledge and understanding in his field. 

Since the company closed in 2009, Joe has been freelancing in many capacities on all forms of media projects. In 2013, Joe became an AVID Certified Pro Tools Instructor, obtaining Expert Level Pro Tools Certification in both Music and Post Production, and teaching Pro Tools Certification courses for several companies-Pro Media Training (Pro Tools Training), Future Media Concepts (FMC), the School of Audio Engineering (SAE), in New York City as well as several cities across the country. Joe was an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City, teaching a Sound Design for Animation course. Upon moving back to Syracuse, New York, Joe has been an Adjunct Professor at the Newhouse School of Communications (Syracuse University), and the School of Visual and Performing Arts (Syracuse University)- implementing two Pro Tools suites within the school. He is currently in charge of the AVID Pro Tools Certification Program at Onondaga Community College (SUNY) as an AVID Certified Instructor, and also continuing his freelance work on several music, film, and media projects.
