SUNY Chancellor's Award medals

Seven Onondaga Community College faculty and staff members received SUNY Chancellor's Awards for Excellence during the May commencement ceremony. The SUNY system-wide awards recognize consistently superior professional achievement and encourage he ongoing pursuit of excellence.

OCC's 2025 honorees are:

  • Mandi Salsbury, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Classified Service
  • Carol Obernesser, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service
  • Steve White, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service
  • Patricia Owens, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Dr. Phuoc Tran, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Timur Saka, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Librarianship
  • Ben Miller, Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship & Creative Actities
