Onondaga Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society chapter is once again raising the bar, celebrating a year packed with standout achievements and well-earned recognition.

At the PTK International Conference, OCC’s chapter earned the prestigious Distinguished Chapter Officer honor, securing an impressive 32nd place ranking among roughly 1,250 chapters worldwide, a testament to the leadership, dedication, and excellence of its members.

At the New York State conference, which was held virtually, OCC's PTK chapter received the following honors: 

  • Honors In Action theme - 1st place
  • Distinguished Officer Team - 1st place
  • Most Distinguished Chapter - 1st runner-up
  • Edgiest Chapter - 4th runner-up
  • 5-Star Chapter and Reach Status

OCC's Phi Theta Kappa chapter, named Alpha Sigma Zeta, is headquartered in a dedicated suite on the 2nd floor of Coulter Hall in room C204.
