OCC Women's Basketball Signing Ceremony
The OCC Women's Basketball team signed 8 local players on April 23. They are (left to right) Macey DeOrdio, Avianna Baker, Nya Williams, McKenzie Barber, Julia Logana, Megan Phillips, Vazcee Robinson, and Isabella Pickard.

After losing an entire season due to the pandemic, Onondaga Community College Women's Basketball team is  ready to bounce back better than ever later. The Lazers are bringing in a total of 15 student-athletes, all of whom played at Central New York high schools. A socially-distanced signing ceremony was held April 23rd in the SRC Arena to welcome in 8 new players. Next Friday another signing ceremony is planned for 7 more players.

Coach Wheeler has led the Women's Basketball program since 2001. During his tenure the Lazers have won 12 conference championships, 5 regional titles, appeared in the Elite Eight 3 times, and made it to the national semifinals 3 times.
