Amara Clemente-Johnson is a Student Success Navigator in Onondaga Community College's School of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
Throughout the summer, we are introducing you to several of our Student Success Navigators. For Onondaga Community College students, they are the dedicated point of contact for support. Student Success Navigators assist with class registration, help students stay on track academically, and connect students with campus resources to support their success.
Amara Clemente-Johnson
- Amara is a Student Success Navigator in OCC's School of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
- Academic programs Amara specializes in: Creative Writing, Humanities and Social Sciences.
- What Amara enjoys about being a Student Success Navigator: "I love helping my students reach the finish line. Many people don't realize the different challenges that can affect a student completing their degree. Those include financial challenges, mental health challenges, and so many other issues. Being able to help them overcome those challenges is important to me."
