Hannah Wagner was one of four Lazers student-athletes to earn a national championship. She finished first in the 400 meter Hurdles competition.

Four Onondaga Community College Lazers student-athletes reached the top of the podium during the 2025-26 academic year, bringing home National Championships and adding to OCC’s proud tradition of excellence in athletics.

  • Hannah Wagner, a sophomore from Chittenango High School, crossed the finish line first in the 400 meter Hurdles.
  • Ny'Quez Madison, a sophomore from Liverpool High School, won his second consecutive title in the Triple Jump.
  • Charlie Foster, a sophomore from Vernon Verona Sherill High School, won the national championship while wrestling in the 174 pound weight class.
  • Paul Clark, a sophomore from Baldwinsville High School, was best in the country in the 8,000 meter race. 8,000 meters is just under 5 miles.

From the track to the mat to the cross country course, these Lazers proved they are among the very best in the nation.
