Agreement with SUNY Buffalo - University at Buffalo
Requirements
Onondaga Community College and the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences have established a partnership to provide a seamless 2+4 path from OCC’s Liberal Arts: Mathematics and Science (Biology Specialization) program to University at Buffalo’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. Under this agreement, students first complete the associate program at OCC (and fulfill all pre-requisites for admission to University at Buffalo’s PharmD program). Upon admission to University at Buffalo’s PharmD program, students complete four years of study to earn the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Please contact OCC’s School of Math, Science, and Engineering advisor for details on minimum requirements for maintaining progress in the program and University at Buffalo PharmD admissions requirements (students remain subject to University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences admission processes and requirements).
You are ready to apply to University at Buffalo’s PharmD program when you plan to have all undergraduate prerequisite courses completed by the end of the summer semester prior to fall matriculation. The following courses satisfy prerequisite expectations for the PharmD degree program at the University at Buffalo:
