Requirements

Students from Onondaga Community College who are accepted by SUNY Upstate will be guaranteed full junior status upon transfer providing they have completed all prerequisite courses for their intended program of study as outlined by program in this agreement and complied with the other requirements of this agreement.

  • Courses with grades of "C" or better are accepted for transfer credit (a grade of "B" or better is preferred)
  • All science courses must include laboratories (unless otherwise noted)
  • All prerequisites must be completed prior to matriculation

Students who meet the prerequisites as outlined and complete their program of study at Upstate will meet SUNY General Education Requirements. 

Students admitted to SUNY Upstate pursuant to this Agreement shall be subject to the same non-academic pre-matriculation requirements that may be in place for students admitted through other channels, including, but not limited to, successful completion of a background check and health clearance.
